In the wake of the upcoming movie Sparkle, the studio has released a new trailer.

While most of the other Sparkle trailers has featured mostly late Whitney Houston, this new one shows the whole cast. First off, this trailer pushes Cee Lo Green into the light as he sings his heart out in a scene on stage. Sony Pictures just released the trailer to the long awaited Motown movie Sparkle. The film is based on the iconic female singing group ‘The Supremes’, which began as three sisters who start out singing in a local church and have dreams of great succecss in the Motown music industry.

Sadly, this will be the last on-screen performance from legendary singer Whitney Houston, who struggled with a cocaine addiction during her long career.  Houston died in February after her battle with drug abuse. | Full Story

“Undercover Boss” has helped boost CBS’ Friday night ratings, after delivering the network’s best numbers in a long time. However, despite CBS’ strong performance, the channel had to settle for a Friday night split with ABC for the top spot, as the “20/20″ special dedicated to the late Whitney Houston dominated the night among young viewers.

Kevin Costner has been chosen to participate in the New Jersey funeral of Whitney Houston, his co-star in the 1992 blockbuster The Bodyguard, according to People.com.

The source told People that Costner will speak at Houston’s childhood church in Newark, where the singer and actress sang in the choir and first mesmorized listeners with her voice.

The 54th annual Grammy Awards show surged in ratings on Sunday night during the music industry’s last minute televised tribute to Whitney Houston.

The three-and-a-half hour telecast attracted an impressive 39.9 million viewers, achieving the Grammys’ largest audience since 1984 and second-biggest viewership numbers ever.

The 2012 Grammys delivered a 14.1 adults 18-49 rating in primetime, up 41 percent from last year and matching its best since 1990.

E! has abruptly pulled a Whitney Houston-mocking episode of Fashion Police  following the recent tragic death of the singing/acting superstar.

The cable station yanked a scheduled rebroadcast of Friday’s Fashion Police, where Joan Rivers bashed Houston for a fashion faux paux. In lieu of the Whitney bashing encore, E! will show a rerun of Khloe & Lamar in the intended 8:30/7:30c time slot.

Kristen Foster, who is Houston’s publicist, said the legend passed but she didn’t mention the cause of death.

The singer/actress and producer won six Grammy awards, two Emmy awards, and 30 Billboard Music Awards across her successful career. She hit her peak when she released the song “I Will Always Love You”.
