Warner Bros.’ new heist film Focus has been plagued with so many casting problems and for a moment it looked like Will Smith and Kristen Stewart would be locking lips as the film leads.

The screenplay from Crazy Stupid Love authors Glenn Ficarra and John Requa originally constructed the roles for Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, but due to scheduling conflicts they were unable to do the film. The roles were subsequently given to Ben Affleck and Stewart. | Full Story

The trailer use majority of the three-minutes trailer to establish the story of how the Kryptonian alien becomes superman, then ending with a chain of  dazzling action sequences.

The ultimate Christmas bully, Scut Farkus, from Warner Bros.’ 1983 A Christmas Story, has filed a lawsuit against the National Entertainment Collectables Association for using a picture of his face without his consent.

In November of 2010, Zack Ward, the actor who played Scut Farkus, attended the annual Christmas Story fundrasier in Clevland, Ohio.  A fan approached Ward, showing him A Christmas Story board game with a picture of himself as Scut Farkus on the outside of the box. | Full Story

This comes as a promise from the studio in conjunction with interactive promotional campaign for the DVD release of The Dark Knight Rises.

A new trailer for Warner Bros.’ Jack The Giant Slayer surfaced online and from the looks of it, this might be an entertaining movie to watch.

For some reason there’s not much buzz circling the film, despite director Bryan Singer  assembling an all-star cast. Eleanor Tomlinson, Stanley Tucci, Ian McShane, Bill Nighy, and Ewan McGregor all join forces to bring to life the classic fairy tale of Jack and the Beanstalk. | Full Story

Rumor: Joseph Gordon-Levitt to Play Batman?

Joseph Gordon-Levitt‘s name has been dropped to play Batman in Justice League, the next superhero flick requiring big budgets and even bigger names. The rumor, unconfirmed of course, comes from the prominent blog of Drew McWeeny, who used a bit of critical thinking along with unspecified sources to draw this somewhat wild conclusion.

“They’re a long way from filming anything Justice League related,” wrote McWeeny, “but they appear to be solidifying deals for Gordon-Levitt and, potentially, at least one other actor from the Nolan films to do… something.”

“They,” of course refers to Warner Bros., the studio responsible for putting the DC heroes together in (hopefully) the same fashion as The Avengers. | Full Story
