R&B Group TLC Biopic Still In The Works; Rochelle Aytes Signs On

VH1 has recently announced its plans to release a series of biopics, starting with 90s girl group TLC.

Actress Rochelle Aytes, best known for her role in White Chicks and can now be seen playing the scandalous widow on ABC’s soap opera Mistresses, is set to play Pebbles, the R&B singer who originally managed TLC.

Keke Palmer has already been tapped to play Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas, rapper Lil Mama will tackle the role of deceased group member Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes; and Drew Sidora will play Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins. | Full Story

After getting arrested following an allegedly violent altercation with wife, Evelyn Lozada, being dropped by the Miami dolphins,  and hearing news that VH1 has canceled the upcoming reality series Ev and Ocho, it’s pretty evident that Chad Ochocinco Johnson has had it very rough the past few days.

DirecTV May Be Forced To Drop Viacom’s 26 Channels At Midnight Tonight

DirecTV and Viacom is currently going through a business war that may force both companies to lose out on millions of dollars in the near future.

Viacom released an official statement stating, “As of midnight on Tuesday, July 10, DirecTV will drop 26 Viacom channels, including Nickelodeon, MTV, Comedy Central, BET, VH1, CMT, Spike TV, TV Land and more.
