HBO has awarded both Veep and Girls with second seasons, just weeks after each show debuted the first episodes of their freshman run.
Veep stars Seinfeld’s Julia Louis-Dreyfus as disenfranchised Vice President Selina Meyer, while Tony Hale and Anna Chlumsky play in supporting roles. The HBO dramedy was created by Armando Iannucci, co-writer of In The Loop.
After grossing an audience of over 3.7 million viewers, Veep is set to show ten new episodes next season. | Full Story
