Will Smith and Denzel Washington could team up like Sydney Poitier and Bill Cosby for the remake of Uptown Saturday Night.

Adam McKay is currently in negotiations to direct Uptown Saturday Night, the Warner Bros remake that the studio is trying to get the two A-list actors to star in.

The original Uptown Saturday Night is a 1974 comedy directed by Poitier, and written by Richard Wesley. The film starred Cosby and Poitier as friends who visit an illegal nightclub, and while there, the two are robbed for their wallets by thieves. | Full Story
