Yesterday, THR posted a story about Kristen Stewart being dropped by Universal for the sequel to Snow White And The Huntsman. Now today, the studio quickly deny THR claims and says that any reports that Stewart has been dropped are completely false.

The studio issued the statement via Co-Chairman Donna Langley saying, “We are extremely proud of Snow White and The Huntsmen and are exploring all options to continue the franchise.”

The writer/director takes charge of the Bourne franchise, which has become hugely popular, collecting almost $1 billion in the box office.

The Wrap’s Alonso Duralde said Stewart’s Snow White, “is too reminiscent of her twitchy Twilight character Bella Swann and would have a hard time convincing people to follow her to Forever 21, let alone storm a castle.”

“The screenwriters should have taken a page from the 1997′s film Ever After, in which Drew Barrymore’s Snow actually had a thought in her head and some plausible skill with a sword,” said Jeff Meyers of Metrotimes
