Tyler Perry’s ‘Alex Cross’ Gets A New Release Date

Lionsgate has moved the release date for Tyler Perry’s Alex Cross up a week. The new date has been bumped to October 19th instead of its previously announced October 26.

There hasn’t been an official reason for the change but many people speculate that the switch had something to do with he film’s competition during that October 26th weekend. During that week, there are films being released starring Robert De Niro, Susan Sarandon, Gerard Butler and Sean Bean, which may take away a little steam from Alex Cross. | Full Story

Lionsgate has released the first trailer for Tyler Perry’s upcoming comedy movie Madea’s Witness Protection.

Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Witness Protection centers around an investment banker and his family that are put in a witness protection program after being at the center of a Ponzi scheme in New York City. The bunch is relocated from their upscale home in Connecticut to Madea’s house in Atlanta, GA.

The film will feature a long list of notable actors and actresses, including Eugene Levy, Denise Richards, Tyler Perry, Danielle Campbell, John Amos, Doris Roberts, Tom Arnold and Lil’ Romeo. | Full Story
