AMC’s The Walking Dead has cast yet another fan favorite character. Danai Gurira nabs the role as the sword-wielding woman, Michonne. The character made her debut in the final moments of Sunday’s season two finale; saving Andrea from certain death with a single slash from her blade, while shackled to two armless zombies.

In the original comic, the two zombies in tow are her boyfriend, Mike, and his best friend, Terry.  They stop trying to attack her, and because of their presence, decrease the chances of other zombies attacking her. | Full Story
