Tracy Morgan Battles With Unruly Puppeteer 'Why Stop Now'

Tracy Morgan is back on the big screen with his latest comedy Why Stop Now. The movie was featured at the Sundance film festival and stars Jesse Eisenberg, Melissa Leo, Isiah Whitlock Jr. and Emma Rayne Lyle. A funny video clip hit the internet curtsey of EW showing Sprinkles(Morgan) and Black(Whitlock Jr.) battling with an unruly puppet controlled by Nicole(Lyle).

The story follows Eli Smith(Eisenberg), a piano prodigy, who’s whole career rest on this one audition that just happens to be on the same day that he has to drop his troubled mother, Penny(Leo) off at rehab and pick up his little sister who has a unhealthy connection with her puppet sock. | Full Story

IFC Films has released the trailer to the new upcoming indie dramedy entitled Why Stop Now.

The film, which star Jesse Eisenberg, Melissa Leo, Tracy Morgan, Isiah Whitlock Jr. and Sarah Ramos, is based on the tipsy-topsy story of Eli Smith (Eisenberg), a piano prodigy, and his mother Penny (Leo) who struggles with drug addiction. Yesterday, Tracy Morgan got into a little car accident on the Upper East Side of New York City. Last night, while the 30 Rock star was getting out of his car, he struck an oncoming cyclist with his door.

The funnyman star was sitting in his Jaguar on Third Avenue at around 9:00 p.m. when the unidentified delivery man slammed into his vehicle.

Tracy Morgan made an appearence on David Letterman’s Late Show last night. While there, the actor was up to his usual antics. First, he gave Letterman his perspective on current events, such as the Jetblue pilot who recently had a meltdown while in flight.

“That was Sully’s cousin. He just wanted some headlines. I was in the cockpit with Sully… We were throwing a couple back, we got into a fight about the Knicks and next thing we knew we were in the Hudson River.”

Tracy Morgan Collapses At Sundance, Rushed To Hospital

According to reports, Tracy Morgan was rushed to the hospital after collapsing at the Sundance Film Festival on Sunday. The actor was said to be unconscious after the fall.

Sources claimed that Morgan seemed drunk during his acceptance speech at the Creative Coalition Spotlight Awards. His representative denied the report as “100 percent false.”

In a statement, the rep said the ’30 Rock’ star was hospitalized “from a combination of exhaustion and altitude; Tracy is seeking medical attention. | Full Story
