'Leverage' Canceled After Fifth Season?

Leverage fans may have to depend on re-runs in order to get their fix of the vigilante heist drama. Show producers revealed that this might be the final season of the series.

In preperation to TNT’s decision, Leverage creator Dean Devlin has written a show finale to insert in need be for an ending.

Devlin and co-creator John Rogers alerted fans on the fansite LeverageFans.com, that they’ve decided to end this season with the episode they had planned to make to end the series, just in case TNT declined to renew Leverage for a sixth year. | Full Story

Eric Dane To Star In Michael Bay’s New Show ‘The Last Ship’

Less than a week after departure from Grey’s Anatomy, Eric Dane has signed on to the new TNT dramatic action series helmed by Transformers executive producer, Michael Bay.

Per Deadline.com’s latest report, the show is based on William Brinkley’s novel, The Last Ship, about a destroyer crew forced to start a new beginning after learning they are some of the only survivors of a nuclear disaster.  The former bad boy doctor is taking on a whole new role as Tom Chanler, a devoted dad and Navy career man. | Full Story

Andre Braugher Books Lead Role In ABC’s Pilot ‘Last Resort’

Casting continues. Emmy winner Andre Braugher has booked the lead role in  ABC’s drama pilot  ’Last Resort’.  The Sony TV-produced project centers on the crew of the U.S.S. Nevada, a nuclear submarine, all of whom, after disobeying a suspicious order, become rouge outlaws.

They land on the island of Sainte Marina, where they occupy the NATO Listening Station and declare themselves an independent nuclear nation. Braugher will play Capt. Marcus Chaplin, the commander of the U.S.S. | Full Story
