The comedy pilot Instant Mom, starring Tia Mowry-Hardrict was set to begin airing its 13 episode order on Nick at Nite, however, in a big twist, the series will debut on NickMom instead while repeats will be shown on Nick At Nite.

Instant Mom was created by Warren Bell and Jessica Butler, and will be the first scripted series for the primetime TV block.

It looks as though Baggage Claim is shaping up a pretty decent cast and may be the next urban classic to hit the theaters.

Playwright/director David E. Talbert’s has recently extended invitations to Taye Diggs, Morris Chestnut, Trey Songz, Lauren London, Tia Mowry and Djimon Hounsou to join his upcoming Baggage Claim comedy.

Baggage Claim, which already has Paula Patton, Derek Luke, and Octavia Spencer on board, will see Patton star as Montana Moore, a 35 year old unmarried flight attendant who is on a mission. | Full Story

Lauren London will join the cast of BET’s comedy The Game. The actress will appear as a series regular in the upcoming 6th season.

London joining the cast of The Game will fill the voided spot that Tia Mowry left when she departed the show last month. The actress will play a character named Kiera, who is “a former child star who is currently appearing in a Cosby Show-esque sitcom.”
