There are four superhero movies coming out this year. The Wolverine is the one that I keep forgetting is happening. It’s not the movie’s fault… wait, yes it is. Because I mean, good grief, Wolverine has already been the star of four other movies. I tire of this hairy immortal Canadian with metal claws.

Anyway, a new one-minute trailer for the film premiered at CinemaCon, and now it’s online for the world to see. | Full Story

After releasing a number of teasers and posters earlier this week, The Wolverine trailer has finally been unleashed, just as Twentieth Century Fox promised they would.

In the full length clip the plot points become even clearer.  A scraggly, overgrown beard Logan (Hugh Jackman) travels to Japan to meet an old friend whose life he saved.  It appears the clawed mutant hero is severely depressed with having to live forever because of his ability to rapidly regenerate practically making him indestructible. | Full Story

The Wolverine image

A new image has been released for The Wolverine, showcasing the famous mutant as he bears his teeth and two claws in what has become his most famous pose.

The image was leaked sometime last week, but it was far too fuzzy and low-res to be worth talking about. The newer, hi-res picture looks far more attractive. The picture shows Hugh Jackman as the titular Wolverine in what can only be described as a Japanese style house late at night. | Full Story

hr_The_Wolverine_2

How do you solve a problem like Wolverine? Arguably Marvel’s most iconic on-screen character, Wolverine first broke out in X-Men. After the failure of that prequel effort, how do you convince viewers another Wolverine movie is worth their time?

With a seriously awesome teaser poster, of course. | Full Story
