There have been two new clips released for Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained. Last week, The Weinstein Company released their last official trailer for the film, but to keep more buzz surrounded around the project they decidied to put out this new footage.

The Weinstein Company Acquires US Distribution Rights For Lee Daniels’ ‘The Butler’

The Weinstein Company have picked up the U.S. rights to his star-studded, historical drama “The Butler.” The Butler centers around Eugene Allen, a butler who worked at the White House from 1952 to 1986, serving under eight presidents. The movie is based on an article written about Eugene’s life story by Wil Haygood. Allen started working at the White House at a time when black people were still discriminated against.

Along with the announcement, there have been a new set pic of the Forrest Whitaker in costume, which is clearer than that silhouette photo that dropped in August. | Full Story

Brad Pitt’s ‘Killing Them Softly’ Pushed Back To Later Date

The Weinstein Company has moved the release date of Killing Them Softly, starring Brad Pitt, to a later date. The film has moved from its projected October 19 date to a November 30 release.

Killing Them Softly, which is directed by Andrew Dominik, stars Pitt, Scoot McNairy, James Gandolfini, Richard Jenkins and Ray Liotta. In the crime triller, Pitt plays an enforcer who investigates a heist in a mob organized card game. | Full Story

The Weinstein Company just released a new image featuring Leonardo DiCaprio as the  slavemaster, Calvin Candie. This is the role he’s playing in Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained. Most of the images that were released shows him as a larger than life character laughing, drinking and having a good time. This image captures a more sinister side of the character, puffing on a pipe.
