Walt Disney Pictures has retained rock singer, guitarist and producer Jack White to write, produce and perform the score for the upcoming film The Lone Ranger.

The Gore Verbinski directed movie will be the first film
White has produced an entire movie score for. However, the Grammy-winning rocker did work with Alicia Keys to write and perform the theme song for the James Bond movie Quantum of Solace (2008).  He also performed several songs, including “Wayfaring Stranger” for the score to Cold Mountain (2003). | Full Story
