THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Liam Hemsworth The Raven


Liam Hemsworth has been targeted to star in the Sci-Fi thriller feature film version of  The Raven.

The Raven was originally a short film, which was director Ricardo De Montreuil, and  bought by Universal pictures three years ago to be made into a feature length film.

According to reports,  Hemsworth is currently in talks to play the lead of the film, Chris Black.  The Raven is based on the story which follows Black, who possesses a power that could lead to the destruction of the current regime, and the opposition will stop at nothing to destroy him. | Full Story

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is the most anticipated upcoming film of 2013, according to a poll taken by the movie ticketing service, Fandango.

Fandango  surveyed more than 2,000 movie-lovers last week, asking questions about upcoming films and stars.  The results were compiled into several lists and then released on Tuesday in the 2013 Hot List.

Unsurprising to loyal Hunger Games fans, the sequel Catching Fire tops the chart on most anticipated films, even stumping The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, which has a few fans disagreeing. | Full Story

Nearly a year away from the November 22, 2013  premier of  the next installment of The Hunger Games trilogy, a new movie poster for Catching Fire has been released.  Now fans can now satisfy themselves with the latest fix leading up to the continuing adventures of Katniss Everdeen.

The Catching Fire poster shows the infamous mockingjay pin, giving to Katniss (Jennifer Lawerence) in the first movie, protruding beyond the characteristic flames. | Full Story

Jeffrey Wright Becomes Beetee In ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’

Lionsgate has announced today that Jeffrey Wright will be the actor to portray District 3′s tribute, Beetee in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire! Tony Shalhoub was originally rumored to have gotten the part.

Wright will star in the film opposite Amanda Plummer, who portrays his counterpart Wiress. The duo is nicknamed Nuts and Volts because of their quirky behaviors. Beetee  returns in the third book, so Jeffrey Wright will likely continue his role into at least one of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay installments. | Full Story

Lionsgate announced today that Maria Howell has joined the cast of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and is entrusted with the role of Seeder. A former victor from District 11, Seeder competes in the 75th Annual Hunger Games.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is the adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ best selling novel Catching Fire. It begins with Katniss Everdeen’s return home after safely winning the 74th Hunger Games along with a fellow tribute. | Full Story

'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' Gets Meta Golding For Enobaria

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire just got another important addition to the cast.

Lionsgate just reveled that Meta Golding will star as Enobaria, a former career tribute from District 2, known for her brutality in the competition which she won.

The cast is steadily forming for the sequel to Susanne Collins’ The Hunger Games. Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jena Malone, and Lynn Cohen are all new additions to the cast. Even rapper Romeo Miller’s name has come up for land a role, but his involvement has not yet been confirmed. | Full Story

Lynn Cohen Joins 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' As Mags

Lionsgate has just announced that Lynn Cohen has been cast as Mags in The Hunger Games: Catching fire. Mags is the 80-year-old former mentor to Finnick Odair who represented District 4 in the games.
