The Dark Knight Rises 2012 Biggest Movie Let Down

There may be many people who might disagree with this critical assessment of The Dark Knight Rises since it was the biggest films of 2012. Heck, Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy generated a huge following of loyal fans, some of which probably believe that Nolan can do no wrong, but keep an open mind and discover why The Dark Knight Rises was ultimately a weak movie.

JGL Dark Knight

Joseph Gordon-Levitt‘s name has been dropped to play Batman in Justice League, the next superhero flick requiring big budgets and even bigger names. The rumor, unconfirmed of course, comes from the prominent blog of Drew McWeeny, who used a bit of critical thinking along with unspecified sources to draw this somewhat wild conclusion.

“They’re a long way from filming anything Justice League related,” wrote McWeeny, “but they appear to be solidifying deals for Gordon-Levitt and, potentially, at least one other actor from the Nolan films to do… something.”

“They,” of course refers to Warner Bros., the studio responsible for putting the DC heroes together in (hopefully) the same fashion as The Avengers. | Full Story

‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Earns An Estimated $160 Million Despite The Horrific Movie Shooting…

Dark Knight Rises Earns An Estimated $160 Million

The Dark Knight Rises was on pace to make $160 million in the box office, which would be a record for 2-D films, but figures are uncertain due the mass shooting at a theater showing the Batman film in Aurora, Colorado.

Other media outlets have made some guesses that despite the incident, the film still earned $160 to $162 million.
