A true work-horse! That’s what many would call Ridley Scott.

According to IMDB, Scott has 13 films that he is currently working on. Now granted, most of these films will never see the light of day, but even if that workload is cut in half, that’s still six and half films! Wouldn’t you think that would be enough for the 75 year-old director?

As the movie-going community buzzes about his new sci-fi/horror film Prometheus, the director has already set his sights on The Counselor, which begins production later this month, and the epic tale of one of the Bible’s most famous characters: Moses. | Full Story

Cameron Diaz is in final negotiations to claim her role in The Counselor. She will play the role of Malkima. The film is based on the original script by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Cormac McCarthy. Diaz will be joining a star-studded cast, which includes Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem, Michael Fassbender, and Penelope Cruz.

Prometheus star Fassbender will lead the film as a respected lawyer who thinks he can get-in and get-out of the drug business without getting too deep in the game, which proves to be a fatal decision. | Full Story

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have not shared screen time since Mr. &  Mrs. Smith (2005), however, if the rumors  are true about Ridley Scott’s upcoming film The Counselor,  the couple may once again be co-stars.

According to Deadline, Scott may get his wish to have both Pitt and No Country For Old Men actor, Javier Bardem, occupying roles in the film alongside Michael Fassbender. The two actors are reportedly in talks to secure the parts. | Full Story
