The Amazing Spiderman On Track To Record Breaking Week

 The Amazing Spider-man shows strength In Midnight Debut!

The Amazing Spider-man is expected to haul in big superhero numbers by the end of this weekend, according to some bullish box-office observers.

The movie earned $7.5 million from midnight showings during it’s U.S. premiere last night, with $1.2 million of it coming from 300 IMAX screens.

Prior to the healthy domestic kick-off  by the Sony superhero tentpole, the studio  projected the film would gross somewhere in the range of $110 to $120 million over the first six days. | Full Story

Maguire’s Spiderman was simply annoying after just the first hour.  This was because Sam Raimi’s take of the beloved comic book character was off, boring, and it just flat out sucked. The release of The Amazing Spiderman is just over a week away and Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone was at a press junket dishing about their characters in the reboot comic book movie.

British actor, Garfield is the latest to suit up as the beloved web slinger, while  Stone plays his love interest Mary Jane.

One of the most important things about making this movie is the casting. That’s why director Marc Webb went through a grueling  search for the two leads before ultimately selecting Garfield  and Stone. | Full Story

Columbia Pictures have just released the second full-length version of  ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ trailer which reveals more details and packs more action than the first one.

Five years after Marvel’s Spiderman 3, the franchise has dusted off the cobwebs and released an installment that delves into the origins of Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield).   Fans will learn about what happened to Peter’s parents and meet Peter’s first love interest, Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone). | Full Story

From the looks of it, it’s nothing that we haven’t seen before. In fact, they have even copied  some of the same shots from the original Spiderman movie. There is nothing amazing about rebooting a franchise within 10 years of the original. It comes off greedy and like Hollywood is just  looking for a  quick buck. It does appear a bit darker and real, which is going to appeal to a lot of our de-sensitized community. | Full Story
