After the news dropped revealing there will be a The Best Man 2, fans of the ’90s romantic comedy couldn’t help salivate over any little detail surrounding the sequel’s storyline.

Universal Pictures has started the process of making The Best Man 2, which is a sequel to the original hit 1999 film. The studio has hired Malcolm D. Lee to write, direct and produce the new movie. Lee was picked mostly because he wrote and directed the original.
