Well Dunder Mufflin fans, your prayers may have just been answered. Despite trying to throw us all off, more rumors have surfaced that Steve Carell might be back for The Office series finale later on May 16th.

If this rumor is true, executive producer Greg Daniels and Steve Carell did a great job concealing the cameo, releasing craftily worded statements denying an official Michael Scott return. Earlier this year, Daniels was quoted saying, “Steve is very much of the opinion that the ‘Goodbye, Michael’ episode and the story arc we did leading up to it was his goodbye to fans and the show. | Full Story

Just when you thought Anchorman: The Legend Continues couldn’t get any better, Kristen Wiig joins the mix. Anchorman’s original leading lady, Christina Applegate, tweeted last night that she is “So excited Kristen Wiig has joined our cast for Anchorman 2.”

It was rumored that Wiig would be joining the cast, as Who Got The Role reported back in December. Per Deadline.com, her role was officially confirmed last night by co-star Applegate, as well as an insider at Paramount. | Full Story

Anchorman 2 preliminary production is shaping up and it looks as though a major casting has come into fruition. Bridesmaids star, Kristen Wiig has signed on take on the KVWN-TV boys in the Anchorman sequel.

Wiig is set to appear in the highly anticipated Anchorman 2, which is the sequel to the 2004 Will Ferrell comedy about a 70s San Diego news anchor named Ron Burgundy. A second Anchorman 2 trailer has made its way on the web despite the fact a script has not been completed and all the cast has not been assembled yet.

Filming hasn’t begun either,  but fans can still get hyped off the two new trailers that  feature Channel Four’s crazy news team.
