There was doubt if Twilight star, Kristen Stewart, would return for possible Snow White and the Huntsman sequel after having one of the biggest Hollywood scandals of 2012. Stewart, 22, was romantically involved with married director of Snow White and the Huntsman, Rupert Sanders, earlier this year.

“Oh it’s going to be f***ing amazing,” Stewart told Indiewire during an interview. “I’m so excited about it, it’s crazy.”

When Stewart sat down for an interview she confirmed that she will reprise her role as the face white as snow, black hair, and bright red lipstick princess for a second installment to 2012 hit movie. | Full Story

Yesterday, THR posted a story about Kristen Stewart being dropped by Universal for the sequel to Snow White And The Huntsman. Now today, the studio quickly deny THR claims and says that any reports that Stewart has been dropped are completely false.

The studio issued the statement via Co-Chairman Donna Langley saying, “We are extremely proud of Snow White and The Huntsmen and are exploring all options to continue the franchise.”

Universal has already given the sequel to Snow White And The Huntsman the greenlight, even as the movie is still playing in theaters, according to a Deadline report.

The Wrap’s Alonso Duralde said Stewart’s Snow White, “is too reminiscent of her twitchy Twilight character Bella Swann and would have a hard time convincing people to follow her to Forever 21, let alone storm a castle.”

“The screenwriters should have taken a page from the 1997′s film Ever After, in which Drew Barrymore’s Snow actually had a thought in her head and some plausible skill with a sword,” said Jeff Meyers of Metrotimes

Yesterday, Universal released four featurettes and a preview of the new trailer for Snow White and the Huntsman in anticipation of a full-length trailer for the movie set to arrive next week during Monday’s episode of The Voice. In the videos below, the mini features highlight quite a bit of new footage and gives a glimpse into the environment, detailing the location, different visuals, sense of scope, the Queen, and costumes.
