Sharlto Copley has been assigned the lead role in Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego’s Open Grave, and has inked a deal to play the villain in Spike Lee’s Oldboy.

The actor, who was best known for his roles in the Oscar-nominated District 9 and The A-Team, will play the character of a man who has woken up with amnesia inside a pit full of rotting bodies.
