ABC Family Premieres ‘Twilight’

The beloved Twilight film saga based on the best-selling books by Stephanie Meyer, will premiere the first film of the franchise, Twilight, on ABC Family beginning Saturday, February 9 at 7 PM. ET/PT.  An encore showing will air directly following the premiere at 9:30 PM ET/PT and again on Sunday, February 10 at 7 PM and 9:30 PM ET/PT.

If you are not a “Twi-hard” fan and unfamiliar with the enthralling storyline, then read carefully: In the supernatural romantic drama Twilight the new girl in town, Bella (Kristen Stewart), falls for the hottest guy in school—not knowing the mysterious, elusive Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) is actually part of a vampire family, and sworn enemy of Bella’s childhood friend, Jacob (Taylor Lautner). | Full Story

A recent article fromCollider.com has named Robert Pattinson as the latest addition to Hold On to Me, an upcoming kidnapping film that will also star Carey Mulligan.

Based on true events, Hold On to Me follows a femme fatale and her boyfriend as they attempt to kidnap a wealthy local man and bury him in a box. As you can imagine, things only get worse. The script was penned by Brad Inglesby, who only has last year’s under-the-radar feature The Dynamiter to his name. | Full Story

One of the highlights of last night’s  MTV Video Music Awards was the debut of a brand spanking new Twilight: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 trailer. What was even more exciting is that the clip included some fresh unseen footage that featured Bella (Kristen Stewart) showing off some of her new abilities as a vampire.

One of the most anticipated moments of tonight’s MTV Video Music Awards is airing of the the brand-new Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2 trailer. In order to get Twilight fans’ mouths drooling, a 14-second teaser has been released.

The teaser, which is the latest in the Twilight’s trailer-for-a-trailer trend, shows the Volturi making the battle charge to attack your beloved “Twilight” vampires and werewolves. The Volture are a very upset about the birth of Renesmee, Edward and Bella’s half-vampire baby, who was born, not bitten. | Full Story

Robert Pattinson is not allowing the breakup with Twilight costar Kristen Stewart to stop him at all. The actor has been staying busy promoting his upcoming film Cosmopolis, while still managing to land roles in upcoming films.

Pattinson has recently secured a gig working alongside Naomi Watts in Queen Of The Desert, Werner Herzog’s biopic of Gertrude Bell.
Watts will play Bell while Pattinson will star opposite of her as Lawrence of Arabia, according to the Hollywood Reporter. | Full Story

Robert Pattinson and Guy Pearce join the rover

Robert Pattinson and Guy Pearce have signed on as co-stars for David Michod’s The Rover.

Pattinson, best known for his Edward character in the Twilight franchise, will play Reynolds in the film, about a man who relentlessly pursues a group of men who steals his car, through the wild Australian outback. Pattinson will play the brother of one of the thieves.

Besides directing the film, Michod also co-wrote the script, which he based on an idea he and Animal Kingdom star Joel Edgerton came up with. | Full Story

The new trailer for David Cronenberg’s upcoming movie Cosmopolis will surely help boost the buzz that’s already beginning to develop around the film.

Cosmopolis is adapted from Don DeLillo’s popular novel of the same name and stars teen favorite Robert Pattinson (Twilight series).  The movie takes place in New York, in the not too distant future and follows the story of Eric Packer (Pattinson), a 28-year-old golden boy assets manager.  Eric, who is worth billions, embarks on a trip across Manhattan in a stretched limo to get a simple hair cut. | Full Story
