The Paramount produced film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has been pushed back again to June 6, 2014.

After being postponed in 2012 to May 16 2014 the film is once again being pushed for release. Perhaps the move was a calculated one to bring in better ratings instead of a production issue because the remake will be the only film scheduled to open that weekend. It will open a week before the Steven Spielberg Executive Produced Jurassic Park 4 in 3D that is estimated to be a ratings blockbuster. | Full Story

‘The Avengers 2′ Assigned Release Date

A release date has been set for The Avengers 2. Disney Studios announced on Thursday that the second installment of the Marvel superhero ensemble will hit theaters on Friday, May 1 2015.

The news comes a week after the studio announced that Joss Whedon will be returning to write and direct the film and work on other Marvel projects over the next three years.

This is just enough time for Marvel to roll out the other movies included in “Phase Two” of their comic book film series. | Full Story

‘The Bourne Legacy’ Gets Pushed Back Because Of ‘The Dark Knight Rises’

Universal’s The Bourne Legacy has been given a new release date after the studio anticipated Warner Bros.’ The Dark Knight Rises will clean up at the box office.

According to EW, the fourth installment of The Bourne Film franchise will be pushed back a week from August 3rd to August 10th to give the Jeremy Renner-starred film some breathing room from the July 20th debut of Dark Knight Rises.

After The Avengers busted up the box office with it’s weekend debut, leaving several casualties in the wake of its record $200.3 million domestic haul, Universal is taking no chances having the first Bourne movie without Matt Damon in the Caped Crusader’s blast zone. | Full Story
