The History Channel miniseries The Bible was already a big television hit, but after the ‘Satan’ character made his first appearance in human form, there’s even more buzz and controversy surrounding the religious miniseries.

Twitter was set ablaze after Christian conservative broadcaster, Glen Beck, made a comparison between the look of the ‘Satan’ character and that of President Obama.

“Anyone else think the Devil in #TheBible Sunday on HIstory Channel looks exactly like That Guy?,” tweeted Beck, refusing to acknowledge Obama by name. | Full Story

Obama’s America, which is an anti-Obama documentary about the current US president, has jumped to No. 2 at the domestic box office Monday. According to reports, the film grossed $1.2 million yesterday, a mark in which The Expendables 2 was only able to beat.

Obama’s America only dropped a small margin of 37 percent from Sunday. Grossing $1.2 million Monday, from 1,091 theaters, proves that the film may be heavily sought. | Full Story

Will Smith has pretty much endorsed President Barack Obama for his 2012 campaign. The actor, who is one of the highest paid stars in Hollywood, is supporting the President’s position for higher taxes on the country’s richest citizens.

George Clooney will host an upcoming fundraiser for President Barack Obama. The Oscar award-winner has invited 150 guests to his co-hosted President’s re-election campaign, which will be held at his Los Angeles home.

The tickets for the affair will run the invitees $40,000 apiece, which will benefit the Obama Victory Fund. The OVF is a joint fundraising committee of the Democratic National Committee, Obama for America, and several state Democratic parties. | Full Story

President Barack Obama has released a new trailer to his upcoming documentary The Road We’ve Traveled. The Road We’ve Traveled is a new 17 minute movie about President Obama’s first term in the White House.

Tom Hanks narrated the short film which picks up where Davis Guggenheim’s 2008 campaign film for President Obama left off. President Obama Pitches Movie Idea To Harvey Weinstein

In a recent interview with the London Times, Harvey Weinstein revealed that President Obama recently sent him an unofficial movie pitch. “The President sent me a book the other day and said ‘Why don’t you make this into a movie?’”

Weinstein went on to state that he wouldn’t disclose the name of the mentioned book saying, “I can’t tell you. It was a spy novel.” Of turning down the President’s pitch the movie mogul said: “I sent him an email back saying he was the most overqualified book scout I’ve ever had.”
