Regardless of whether The Conjuring  turns out to be a terrible or thoroughly average movie, it’ll always stand as having a pretty fantastic trailer. The film is the latest from Saw and Insidious director James Wan, who also has Insidious 2 coming out this year. It’s another horror film designed to turn a big profit off of its low budget. ‘Insidious Chapter 2′ Given Green Light By Studio

The studio Film District has announced its intention to make a sequel 2011′s hit horror film Insidious. According to a recent article from The Playlist, leads Rose Byrne and Patrick Wilson are set to reprise their starring roles, reuniting them with director James Wan.

It’s quite simple. Any studio will be more than willing to create a sequel as long as it has turned a profit. Insidious brought in $97 million in ticket sales alone on a $1.5 million dollar budget. | Full Story

New Prometheus ‘Happy Birthday David’ Promo Delivers Clues Into Michael Fassbender Character

With the recent internet release of the ‘Happy Birthday David’ promo, the mystery surrounding Ridley Scott‘s upcoming SciFi epic Prometheus is slowly being peeled back.

It appears Michael Fassbender will be playing an artificial humanoid character much like the other films in the Alien franchise. First there was Ash, next  Bishop, and then Annalee Call followed. Since 20th Century Fox released the trailer for Prometheus, fans have been itching for more and more “intelligence” on the project. Total Film caught up with Charlize Theron to discuss her role as Meredith Vickersin in the sci-fi thriller.

“I play somewhat of a villain in it,” she says. “…She’s not a believer. She’s not a scientist. She is the red tape that everyone has to go through… She’s working with the company that’s sponsoring this whole thing and you can feel she definitely has an agenda, which we pick up in the third act. | Full Story
