Yesterday, X-Men: Days of Future Past director Bryan Singer tweeted this:

Thrilled to welcome the brilliant #OmarSy from the amazing film #TheIntouchables to the cast of #Xmen#DaysofFuturePast!

The Intouchables was kind of the big deal, achieving the unprecedented feat of grossing $426 million (making it an international blockbustser), only a fraction of which came from the US. It was giant in its native France, winning Sy a César Award (the French equivalent of an Oscar) for Best Actor. | Full Story

A recent report from Collider has claimed both Bradley Cooper and Omar Sy are in talks to star in Chef, a new comedy from director Derek Cianfrance.

Chef will revolve around a disgraced culinary master who, after losing his critically acclaimed restaurant in Paris, decides to bring his crew back together in an attempt to create the best restaurant in London. Bradley Cooper is reported to play the leading role whereas Omar Sy’s role has yet to be disclosed. | Full Story

Chris Rock, Jamie Foxx Or Idris Elba For Remake Of French Hit 'Intouchables'

The French film Intouchables is now in the hands of The Weinstein Company and Harvey Weinstein uncovered his plans to remake the movie an Englishversion. The film, which stars Omar Sy and Francois Cluzet made a lot of noise on the film festival circuit, acquiring eight nominations and five wins. Sy won a Cesar award for Best Actor beating out Jean Dujardin for The Artist. The film is about a wealthy quadriplegic who finds a new reason to live thanks to a vibrant caretaker. | Full Story
