The Intouchables was kind of the big deal, achieving the unprecedented feat of grossing $426 million (making it an international blockbustser), only a fraction of which came from the US. A recent report from Collider has claimed both Bradley Cooper and Omar Sy are in talks to star in Chef, a new comedy from director Derek Cianfrance.

Chef will revolve around a disgraced culinary master who, after losing his critically acclaimed restaurant in Paris, decides to bring his crew back together in an attempt to create the best restaurant in London. The French film Intouchables is now in the hands of The Weinstein Company and Harvey Weinstein uncovered his plans to remake the movie an Englishversion. The film, which stars Omar Sy and Francois Cluzet made a lot of noise on the film festival circuit, acquiring eight nominations and five wins.
