Clint Mansell Reunites With Darren Aronofsky for ‘Noah’

Not surprisingly, a recent report has confirmed that Darren Aronofsky will join forces once again with Clint Mansell for the scoring of Noah. The news regarding the biblical epic comes courtesy of Collider.

Clint Mansell has been a longtime collaborator with Aronofsky. His work in Requiem for a Dream, known as “Lux Aeterna“, has become a staple in the film world and Youtube clips. Similarly, without Mansell’s contribution, the rest of Aronofsky’s films – Pi, The Fountain, The Wrestler, Black Swan – would not seem nearly as haunting, human or desperate. | Full Story

Today, fans of the upcoming flick will be delighted in knowing that the first images of the film’s antagonist – played by Ray Winstone – have been released online via the Daily Mail.

Cinematographer Leaks ‘Noah’ Pic

A new picture involving Darren Aronofksy’s biblical epic Noah has surfaced online, courtesy of cinematographer Matthew Limbatique’s Twitter.

Apparently when it came to snakes, Noah – played here by Russel Crowe – didn’t settle for two by two. More like, 200,000 by 200,000. The picture also reveals some sort of enormous crocodile.

It’s good to see Aronofsky already putting out work for a feature being released in 2014. It allows audience to assume that plenty more content is to come in the next year and a half, and that the eventual end product will be fitting of the word ‘epic’ in every possible way. | Full Story

The First Image Of Russell Crowe As ‘Noah’ Released

Darren Aronofsky’s epic project of Noah’s ark is currently being shot and the production team has released a picture of the star Russell Crowe, as Noah.

The movie is “a close adaptation of the Biblical story of Noah’s Ark, in which the titular Noah is given a divine mission of building an ark to save creation from the impending flood.”

Noah was written by John Logan (Gladiator, The Aviator, Hugo and many more) and Aronofsky himself, which is not a traditional retelling of the biblical Noah story but a radical change, complete with giant angels called ‘Watchers’. | Full Story

Anthony Hopkins has landed a new role to play Methusaleh in Darren Aronofsky’s Noah.

NOAH is an adaptation of the Biblical story of Noah’s Ark. In a world ravaged by the sin of human beings, Noah is given a divine mission to build an Ark to save a pair of all creation from the coming flood.
