Well Dunder Mufflin fans, your prayers may have just been answered. Despite trying to throw us all off, more rumors have surfaced that Steve Carell might be back for The Office series finale later on May 16th.

If this rumor is true, executive producer Greg Daniels and Steve Carell did a great job concealing the cameo, releasing craftily worded statements denying an official Michael Scott return. Earlier this year, Daniels was quoted saying, “Steve is very much of the opinion that the ‘Goodbye, Michael’ episode and the story arc we did leading up to it was his goodbye to fans and the show. | Full Story

‘The One With The ‘Friends’ Reunion’ Is Not Happening

The Internet has gone simply nuts with rumors of a Friends reunion. Some websites have reported a full new season, others have teased a Thanksgiving reunion special. Some sites even claim an entire movie is in the works. Well, I’m sorry to burst your Friends bubble, but none of that is happening. Welp, the ink is probably still drying – Jimmy Fallon just closed a deal with NBC that will have him replace Jay Leno on The Tonight Show. 

While Fallon has a successful late, late night show, he admits, “I’m really excited to host a show that starts today instead of tomorrow.” While it’s clear Fallon is eager to take over the 11:30pm spot, he’ll have to wait until spring of 2014. Amidst plummeting ratings and eight months after the incident ignited outrage, Matt Lauer is finally speaking out about the ouster of his former Today show co-host, Ann Curry.  Today has slipped into second place in ratings to arch-rival Good Morning America, and some are saying Curry’s firing has a lot to do with it.

Chlyer Leigh is jumping from one plane crash to another. Leigh’s character, Lexie Grey, was killed off of Grey’s Anatomy in a tragic plane crash last May. Now, about a year later, she will be the victim of another plane crash – only this time she actually walks away.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Leigh is set to star in the new NBC series, Holding Patterns. Believe it or not this new series revolving around survivors of a plane crash is supposedly a comedy. | Full Story

‘About A Boy’ NBC’s Remake adds MadTv Actress

The Bon Qui Qui actress, Anjelah N. Johnson,  has joined the cast of NBC’s remake of About a Boy.

The pilot adaption to Nick Hornby’s novel and 2002 film of the same name, which starred Hugh Grant, Nicholas Hoult, and Toni Collette will be written and produced by Parenthood’s and Friday Night Lights Jason Katims.

This single camera comedy will tell the story between a bachelor man named Will (New Girl’s David Walton) and Marcus, a young boy who moves in next-door, and his crazy single mother Fiona. | Full Story

‘Reno 911!’ Actor Thomas Lennon Cast in Upcoming NBC Pilot “Happiness”

Reno 911! officer Thomas Lennon has recently signed on to star along side Sean Hayes in the upcoming NBC comedy tentatively titled Happiness.

The sitcom spawns from the creator of the short lived Fox comedy Better Off Ted,  Victor Fresco. Happiness is still in the development stages but it is known that Lennon will play Sean Hayes temperamental boss. star Miranda Cosgrove is headed to NBC to star alongside Christina Ricci in the interestingly titled sitcom Girlfriend in a Coma. 

Cosgrove will play Evie, who is the daughter of Karen (Ricci). Evie’s world is turned upside down when her mother wakes up after being in an almost two-decade-long coma. Karen is shocked to learn that she has a 17 year old daughter from a pregnancy that she was unaware of. | Full Story

Howie Mandel returns to America’s Got Talent for his fourth consecutive season as a judge, according to a brand new interview with Access Hollywood.

The Canadian TV host said, “I’m doing my fourth season of ‘America’s Got Talent,’” Howie told Access Hollywood’s Kit Hoover, in the interview on Tuesday morning in Burbank, California. “I’m going to re-judge for my fourth year,” he added, with a laugh.

After just two weeks on air, NBC proved that Do No Harm could be harmed, by pulling the plug on the new drama.    Do No Harm, which filled the 10pm time spot on NBC, was cancelled immediately following the show’s second episode. The network announced for the next two weeks Law and Order: SVU reruns will run in the spot.  Possibly long-term could be Rock Center with Brian Williams or a new drama waiting in the wings such as ‘Hannibal‘. | Full Story
