The show stars Connie Britton (American Horror Story, Friday Night Lights) and Hayden Pannitere (Heroes). Britton stars as Rayna Jaymes, the reigning country music superstar. Pannietere plays Juliette Barnes, a young up and comer looking to dethrone Rayna take the title for herself.

Hayden Panettiere Books New Role In ABC’s Drama Pilot ‘Nashville’

Hayden Panettiere landed her latest role on ABC’s drama pilot Nashville. The former Heroes star will play a teen sensation named Juliette Barnes, who is called upon to re-ignite a 40-year-old Nashville superstar’s failing music career.

Nashville is described as a modern soap opera about love, country music, family, politics and sex. Written by Callie Khouri, directed by R.J., and produced by Lionsgate and ABC Studios.
