‘Now You See Me’ Trailer Is Magical And Mesmerizing

The Four Horsemen from left to right - Dave Franco, Isla Fisher, Jesse Eisenberg, and Woody Harrelson

The newest trailer for Now You See Me just hit the web and it will make you want to believe in magic. Usually I’m very skeptical of a movie with magicians as the premise, but perhaps I’m just a bit cynical after The Incredible Burt Wonderstone came out. But really – WHO thought that was a good idea?

Anyway, Now You See Me actually looks like a quality movie about contemporary magicians with an Ocean’s Eleven-esque twist. | Full Story

New ‘Oblivion’ Trailer

url

A new trailer has been released for the upcoming Tom-Cruise-as-WALL-E sci-fi blockbuster Oblivion. There’s some new footage mixed in with that from the first trailer. What strikes me, though is how much more plot detail this one gives away. I figured that the first trailer had revealed pretty much everything about the plot, but this one tells us even more. I really, really wish they’d stop doing that with promo materials. | Full Story

Magical Crime Promised in ‘Now You See Me’ Trailer

Now You See Me

The first trailer for Now You See Me, an upcoming crime thriller about a group of magicians, has recently surfaced online. While it doesn’t seem to be offering anything new or innovating, it does generate a certain curiosity and intrigue, probably because it’s about a group of bank robbing illusionists. And magic is always fun.

Directed by Louis Leterrier, Now You See Me will star Jesse Eisenburg, Isla Fisher, Woody Harrelson and Dave Franco as a group of magicians who pull off bank heists during their Las Vegas magic show. | Full Story

First Picture from Jon Turtletaub’s ‘Last Vegas’

Last Vegas

I’d never thought that the prospects for a movie starring Morgan Freeman, Michael Douglas, Robert De Niro, and Kevin Kline would seem so grim, but there you have it.

Deadline has the first promo image for their new film, Last Vegas, and it looks terribly amateurish. There are other reasons to not get enthused about this film, though. Like the fact that these four guys have been mostly phoning it in for years. | Full Story

Marketing for Warner Bros’ The Dark Knight Rises is definitely in full swing after the studio released four new TV spots for Christopher Nolan‘s final Batman movie. The first two were released last week, with two more following yesterday and today.

Instead of the same old dark and gloomy depictions of previous previews, the first of the latest Dark Knight Rises TV spots shows a lighter side of Bruce Wayne (played by Christian Bale). | Full Story
