New ‘Gangster Squad’ trailer hits the web!

Warner Brothers has just released another trailer for the upcoming crime drama Gangster Squad. The initial trailer for the film was released back in May and this is the second edition.

Gangster Squad takes place 1949 in Los Angeles, California. In the story, Brooklyn born mob boss Mickey Cohen is in full control of the city, where he is making large amounts of money from drugs, guns, prostitution and every numbers racket ring west of Chicago. | Full Story

Warner Bros. Gangster Squad Trailer Just Released

Warner Bros. just released the trailer for the shoot’em up crime drama Gangster Squad.

The story takes place 1949 in Los Angeles, where Brooklyn born mob king Mickey Cohen is in full control of the city. He is making a large sum of money from drugs, guns, prostitution and every numbers racket west of Chicago. He does this all with the protection of his violent goons, corrupt police, and politicians who are on his pay roll. | Full Story

Michael Pena has joined the all-star cast of Warner Bros Crime drama ‘Gangster Squad’. Crime Drama set in the 1940′s Los Angeles.

This film is based on a LAT article written by Paul Lieberman about the corruption and chaos. The LAPD created a special unit called the Gangster Squad to keep the mafia out of the city.

Pena plays an officer with a Mexican heritage who is eager to prove himself to the squad. | Full Story
