Todd McFarlane’s Spawn may be getting its own reboot, as the artist, cartoonist, writer and toy designer has recently claimed that an Oscar winning actor is eagerly awaiting for a finished script via MTV.

The Black Dynamite film has earned its own animated TV adaptation. The 2009 film, which stars Michael Jai White as the lead character, was directed by Scott Sanders and originally premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah.

White’s character was a former CIA agent and Vietnam vet who dedicated himself to battling drug dealers in his community after the death of his younger brother.
