Well folks, here’s Meryl Streep’s Oscar nomination for next year. August: Osage County will continue the grand prestige picture tradition of bringing together a group of distinguished white people to affect Southern drawls and yell at each other.

Ewan McGregor has been named as the latest addition to the already stellar cast of August: Osage County, according to a recent article by indiewire.com.

Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts have already been reported to be onboard the Weinstein Co. film, which is an adaptation of the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning play by Tracy Letts.
