The trailer for Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., ABC’s highly anticipated series that spins off The Avengers  to the small screen.,  is now online due to the efforts of impatient fans across the web. As a result of fans flooding twitter with the hashtag # CoulsonLives, the network responded by unlocking bonus footage and this trailer.

S.H.I.E.L.D. will follow Clark Gregg’s agent Phil Coulson, who was also featured in the Marvel feature films, as he attempts to assemble a small group of special agents from around the world to protect the earth from a growing threat to the human population. | Full Story

Iron Man 3 went into international theaters over the weekend and performed so well that Marvel studio executives’ heads are spinning. Iron Man 3, starring Robert Downey Jr. grossed an estimated $195.3 million in just three days. That puts the Iron Man sequel ahead of Marvels’ golden nugget, The Avengers, which made $185.1million in its debut.

Iron Man 3 has broken a bundle of records already in markets like Hong Kong, Indonesia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore. | Full Story

Zoe Saldana Might be the Newest Guardian of the Galaxy

Zoe Saldana is in talks with Marvel to join the cast of Guardians of the Galaxy. The film, part of “Phase Two” of the Marvel cinematic universe, hits theaters August 1st, 2014. Saldana is being courted for the role of Guardian Gamora.

She will hopefully have a much more sensible outfit in the movie. Like many superheroes, she is the sole surviving member of her race, who were wiped out by alien invaders. | Full Story

Watch out galaxy, funny man Chris Pratt is headed for you.

Chris Pratt has been cast as lead character, Star Lord, the films part-human part-alien leader of the upcoming  Guardians of the Galaxy.

Guardians of the Galaxy originated from a series that began in the late 1960′s and focused on a super-powered team of humans, aliens and bio-engineered creatures who patrol the milky way. The film is part of Marvel’s phase-two plan that was introduced last year at Comic-Con. | Full Story

Marvel Releases Four New ‘Iron Man 3′ Photos

As the date draws near for Iron Man 3 to hit the theaters, Marvel has released four new images from the film, including the Iron Patriot armor and our first look at Rebecca Hall as scientist Maya Hansen. Hall looks as though she was just pushed to the ground as she sports a scrape to her forehead, a flower skirt, and a pair of sneakers. As for the Iron Patriot armor, there is close-up of the Mark VII mask, which was semi-destroyed. | Full Story

Let’s just admit it, the best part of Marvel’s comic book character Iron Man, is watching Tony Starks (Robert Downey Jr.) suit up. In Iron Man, Iron Man 2, and The Avengers, directors always found a new way for Downey to suit up when the going got tough. Now, a video from Splash News has hit the internet showing Chris Hemsworth and his friends getting hammered in an explosive battle. Production has been shooting steadily for the past few days in Bourne Wood, Surrey. The story is set to pick up right where The Avenger left off.

Thor 2: The Dark World

Production has begun shooting for Marvel’s Thor: The Dark World. Due to the unruly behavior of some photographers in the UK, we have some awesome set photos below to share.

In the photos, it’s clear that director Alan Taylor included an epic battle scene. Chris Hemsmorth (Thor) recently revealed that the film is going to trade the science fiction element for a more viking influenced theme. Hence, upon first sight, this scene looks like something out of Braveheart. | Full Story
