The newest trailer for Now You See Me just hit the web and it will make you want to believe in magic. Usually I’m very skeptical of a movie with magicians as the premise, but perhaps I’m just a bit cynical after The Incredible Burt Wonderstone came out. But really – WHO thought that was a good idea?

Anyway, Now You See Me actually looks like a quality movie about contemporary magicians with an Ocean’s Eleven-esque twist. | Full Story

Hulk Movie Rumors Laid To Rest

Some rumors have been circulating through the fanboy bubble suggesting there’s going to be a stand alone Hulk Movie. As much as I would love to see this happen — it’s been confirmed by Marvel, Marvel’s golden boy Joss Whedon and the current Hulk, Mark Ruffalo — there will be no Hulk Movie.

Ruffalo stated on his own twitter account there are no plans for such a project. The actor also added he won’t even think about the raging monster until The Avengers 2. | Full Story

Ryan Murphy’s ‘Normal Heart’ Goes To HBO

Larry Kramer’s Broadway play The Normal Heart, is getting a TV adaptation, which will be directed by Glee’s Ryan Murphy.

First reported last year by Hollywood Reporter, Murphy’s The Normal Heart will go into production this year and is set to air on HBO in 2014 starring Julia Roberts, Mark Ruffalo and Matt Bomer.

“We are so proud to be involved with this monumental project,” said Michael Lombardo, president of HBO programming. | Full Story

The first trailer for Now You See Me, an upcoming crime thriller about a group of magicians, has recently surfaced online. While it doesn’t seem to be offering anything new or innovating, it does generate a certain curiosity and intrigue, probably because it’s about a group of bank robbing illusionists. And magic is always fun.

Apparently filming for The Avengers is not yet completed according to Robert Downey Jr.  He claims he and his co-stars still have one scene left to shoot. “Not to keep you guessing, but we’re actually not done shooting. We are shooting one more scene tonight. I’m not kidding.” Downey said at a press conference before the premiere of The Avengers.

Downey’s statement was backed by co-star Mark Ruffalo saying that he, Downey, and the rest of the cast were planning to film something Thursday night. | Full Story
