A new Man Of Steel TV spot came online today by way of Warner Bros. Pictures—the studio behind the superhero movie, and at the 0:24 mark, the spot shows Superman letting out an uncharacteristic angry roar as he flies off to sock it to some bad guys. Amazon has the score for Man of Steel available for pre-order, and you can listen to bits of each musical piece. The music for the new Superman film was composed by Hans Zimmer, brought onboard by the film’s producer, Christopher Nolan, who’s collaborated with Zimmer frequently in recent years.

Breaking: acclaimed and talented actor Michael Shannon has released a video clip on YouTube, in which he speaks directly to his mortal enemy, Kal-El, and threatens the inhabitants of Earth with destruction unless Kal-El gives himself up. At this point, we can only pray for salvation, as none could ever hope to match Shannon’s godlike powers in combat. We must hope for deliverance, or that Shannon is merciful.

The first TV commercial for the new Superman film went out last night. It’s… basically the trailer we’ve all seen, just cut down to 30 seconds. Bleh. But maybe this is a good thing. This is surely a better preview for the movie for the people with 30 second memory spans. This way, they don’t have to worry about forgetting what they’re seeing midway through.
