Scarlett Johansson Takes Female Fighter Role Lucy

Scarlett Johansson has taken her Marvel’s character Black Widow skills to leverage another kick-ass female warrior role in Luc Besson’s action thriller Lucy.

The Avengers actress will star as the title role working from the Besson written script. She will play a young woman that is forced to become a drug mule, but somehow the drugs find its way into her system turning her into a powerful street fighter. Along with the ability to fight, she becomes desensitized to pain, acquires telepathic powers and can learn new things instantly. | Full Story

Kevin Costner, McG Team Up for Secret Service Film

Fresh off an Best Actor Emmy for his role in the miniseries “Hatfields & McCoys,” Kevin Costner has signed on to a new Secret Service action film from scribes Luc Besson and Adi Hasak. Director McG (Charlie’s Angels, Terminator Salvation) has also signed up to direct. The untitled thriller is being produced by Relativity Media and EuropeCorp, which are also teaming on the crime-drama Malavita (coming in 2013). | Full Story
