A&E has recently renewed Longmire for a second season, only a few weeks after its series premiere.
The western-themed show premiered Sunday, June 3 at 10 p.m. achieving a strong mark of 4.1 million total viewers. That feat made it the year’s top new scripted cable drama. The subsequent show grew 22 percent in the 18-49 demographic, with 1.2 million viewers in that demographic.
