A recent report from Deadline has claimed the unmistakable Liam Neeson is set to star in Run All Night, a mob-oriented crime thriller from upcoming screenwriter Brad Ingelsby.

While many claim Liam Neeson is reaching the age where action films are no longer an option, the star of Taken, its sequel and The Grey seems to be proving critics wrong and going the Sean Connery route. Will Ferrell, Liam Neeson, Nick Offerman, and Allison Brie will join Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Morgan Freeman, and Chris Pratt in lending their voices to the new animated Lego 3D movie. Pratt voices the main character Emmet, an unsuspecting hero who gets wrapped up in an adventure after a case of mistaken identity. Ferrell voices an uptight CEO, while Nesson is an unruly henchman known as “Bad Cop”. Taken 2 dominated the box office as expected this weekend, boasting one of the best October debuts ever. Taken 2 earned an estimated $50 million since opening on Friday, that’s more than double the first Taken’s $24.7 million.

Taken 2 hits 3,661 theaters this weekend, making it the second largest release in history for a live-action in October.

The first Taken became an instant favorite for movie-goers, debuting to a surprising $24 million in 2009. At the end of its run, the film earned an incredible $145 million and despite its simple concept and theme, the film remains largely popular even after three years.

Liam Neeson has threaten to come and find moviegoers if don’t sit through his new minute and a half Taken 2 movie trailer.

Taken 2 is the sequel to Neeson’s bada$$ 2009 action film Taken. In that film, Neeson’s character went to no lengths to rescue his teenage daughter after she was kidnapped by a sex slave operation. Sequels don’t always live up to the original, but if a person were to judge this film’s trailers, Taken 2 looks like it may foot the bill. | Full Story

In the upcoming sequel, we see  former CIA operative Bryan Mills (Neeson) on the war path to retrieve his kidnapped wife (Famke Janssen) with the help of his daughter (Maggie Grace).

Neeson returns as ex-CIA agent, Bryan Mills, who is blessed with particular set of skills that allowed him to slaughter a gang of Albanian human traffickers to rescue his daughter. Production is underway for the return of Liam Neeson in Taken 2. Neeson will reprise his role as ex CIA agent Bryan Mills who in the first Taken, saved his daughter (Maggie Grace) from Albanian sex traffickers in Paris.
