Finally! A Kick-Ass 2 trailer has arrived. Universal Pictures unveiled the trailer today — I mean the red band trailer and it looks like oodles of fun. From the looks of the preview clip, Kick-Ass 2 is living up to its brand. There is no shortage of cursing, a** kicking and raunchy jokes in this one, hence the age requirement to watch the trailer.

In the sequel to 2010′s Kick-Ass, Faison’s Dr. Gravity will be joining other returning stars Aaron Johnson, Chloe Moretz, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Nicolas Cage and John Leguizamo.

Production has officially started on Kick-Ass 2, and writer/director Jeff Wadlow has signed on another cast member for the film. Wadlow has confirmed the hiring of female bodybuilder, Olga Kurkulina, to play the part of Mother Russia in the highly-anticipated sequel.
Kurkulina had this to say when discussing the role:

A few weeks ago, rumors hit the internet of Jim Carrey possibly joining the cast of Kick Ass 2: Balls to the Wall. Now, it seems as though all the talk may come into fruition.
Although not officially confirmed by the studio, director Jeff Wadlow posted a tweet hinting that he has “officially” cast Carrey for a role in Kick Ass 2. Morris Chestnut has landed roles in two upcoming films.
First there is Kick-Ass 2, a movie which will feature an ensemble of superhero misfits that fight crime — similar to The Avengers. The bunch will go head-to-head with The Red Mist, an enemy character who has gathered a team of “supervillains” in order to defeat both Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl.
