Another trailer for the highly anticipated new James Bond movie was just released. Skyfall is the twenty-third Bond movie, the third with Daniel Craig as agent 007. Ever since Craig was cast as the spy, the Bond movies have gotten a bit darker and grittier. Following in that pattern, Skyfall challenge the typical Bond formula of guns, girls, and bad guys. There are definitely still some guns, girls, and bad guys, but this James Bond shows some emotion and vulnerability while kicking major a**. | Full Story

This is just an early tease to hold over diehard Bond fans for a while because the trailer doesn’t reveal much. The trailer shows bond in a interrogation room getting what seems to be a routine evaluation, or maybe Bond is just getting a new mission in a covert way. | Full Story

Skyfall First Look Poster

007.com released a new teaser poster for  Skyfall today. Director Sam Mendes stated that he wanted Skyfall to have the feel of classic James Bond. Examples of similarities between this adaptation of the film and past Bond projects, include the set location, (same as From Russia With Love), and the popular gun barrel background, shown in every Bond movie’s credit sequence.

There are rumors that Skyfall is going to step back into the light hearted Bond formerly of the Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan days. Apparently the plan is to distance the next Bond film from the dark and grittier Bond who Daniel Craig has most recently portrayed. | Full Story

New Skyfall production photos and a videoblog have been released, giving fans an inside glimpse into the happenings on set of the latest James Bond movie.

The new production stills portray, as usual, an armed and dangerous Bond, played by Daniel Craig.  We also get a hint of what Naomi Harris’ character, Eve, looks like in action. Judi Dench’s M appears to be carrying out her normal duties, keeping tabs on the ongoing secret missions. | Full Story

Mansion Explodes On Set Of Skyfall

The latest Bond movie, Skyfall, gets underway with pyrotechs setting a replica mansion a blaze.

Last night on the set of the upcoming 007 film,  Bond’s countryside lodge was destroyed in a explosion in true action movie fashion. Production spent months building a mansion worthy of James Bond’s very flamboyant taste only for it all to go up in smoke, intentionally.

Oscar winning actress Judi Dench has told the Daily Mirror on Saturday, that she has been battling to save her sight from a degenerative disease she was recently diagnosed with.

“I can’t read scripts any more because of the trouble with my eyes,” the 77-year-old actress says. “And so somebody comes and reads them to me, like telling me a story.
