Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is deep into filming, forging its way to a fast approaching release date of October 4th. While in the midst of shooting, Director Robert Rodriguez popped some pictures and showed them to the world via twitter, to show how much fun he’s having making the movie.

“Having a BLAST making this movie. Amazing cast, and they’re all doing fantastic work.” Featured in the photo is Josh Brolin, who is replacing Clive Owens from the first film, performing in front of a green screen with just a car steering wheel mounted on a green box. | Full Story

A recent report from Deadline has confirmed that another big name has joined Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, upping the ante for all star casts and stellar ensembles: Oscar nominee Josh Brolin.

Dimension Films already announced last night that Joseph Gordon-Levitt will also be joining the Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez directed film. It only makes sense that yet another big name has joined the likes of Dennis Haysbert, Rosario Dawson, Mickey Rourke, and Jessica Alba. | Full Story

New ‘Gangster Squad’ trailer hits the web!

Warner Brothers has just released another trailer for the upcoming crime drama Gangster Squad. The initial trailer for the film was released back in May and this is the second edition.

Gangster Squad takes place 1949 in Los Angeles, California. In the story, Brooklyn born mob boss Mickey Cohen is in full control of the city, where he is making large amounts of money from drugs, guns, prostitution and every numbers racket ring west of Chicago. | Full Story

Warner Bros. just released the trailer for the shoot’em up crime drama Gangster Squad.

The story takes place 1949 in Los Angeles, where Brooklyn born mob king Mickey Cohen is in full control of the city. He is making a large sum of money from drugs, guns, prostitution and every numbers racket west of Chicago. A new poster came online for the third installment of Sony Pictures Men in Black. The poster features Agent J speeding on a ‘one- wheeled gizmo’.  The film will star Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones, and Josh Brolin, Emma Thompson, Alice Eve, Nicole Scherzinger, Jermaine Clement, and Michael Stuhlbarg.

Spike Lee's Oldboy is getting darker ending

Spike Lee’s ‘Oldboy’ re-creation is receiving some push back from loyal fans of the original Chan-wook’s ‘Oldboy’. Ever since ‘Oldboy’ fans heard that Steven Spielberg and Will Smith were involved, it seemed to put a bad taste in their mouths. Maybe, just maybe Josh Brolin taking the lead role will sweeten up some fans, or else Colin Firth playing the villain just might do it.

As for the fate of the script, it will be a completely different version written by Mark Protosevich, the same writer behind ‘I am Legend’. | Full Story
