Disney Releases 10-Minute Clip From The Movie ‘John Carter’

Walt Disney Pictures has released a 10-minute video taken right out of the movie John Carter.

The movie follows John Carter, a former military captain, who is transported to Mars where he becomes the center of conflict between the two inhabitants of the planet.  In a world on the brink of destruction, Carter rediscovers his love for life when he realizes that the survival of Barsoom and its people rest in his hands.

Taylor Kitsch stars as John Carter in this big screen adaptation of the Edgar Rice Burroughs novel.  Also starring is Lynn Collins, Willem Dafoe, James Purefoy, Samantha Morton, Ciaran Hinds, Mark Strong and Dominic West. | Full Story

Studios hold very little back when going after the much coveted and super expensive Super Bowl advertising slots.  This year seemed to be no different as Hollywood dished out a gargantuan amount of cash to highlight upcoming projects to the 100 million viewers watching Super Bowl commercials on Sunday.

If only Hollywood’s night could be as popular as the NFL’s.  Well, since the Oscars can expect only a fraction of the amount of viewership the  Super Bowl gets, Hollywood  made sure  to put together special trailers for the Big Game’s ad slots. | Full Story

Disney released a new teaser trailer for ‘John Carter.’ The company is teaming up with the NFL and is giving one lucky John Carter/football fan a chance to win a trip to next year’s Super Bowl XLVII. In order to win, viewers must keep a sharp lookout for the secret code that comes up during the commercial of this year’s big match-up between the NY Giants and the New England Patriots. | Full Story

Yesterday Taylor Kitsch was on Good Morning American to show off his new movie ‘John Carter.’ The epic Action adventure, based on the Barsoom series by Edgar Rice Burroughs, is a surprising early gift for all John Carter fans. Happy Holidays!

The Official trailer hit the web today and the former ‘Friday Night lights’ Star is looking hardcore. This Action adventure follows a former Confederate Captain (Kitch) who is mysteriously transported to Mars, and must resolve a conflict between warring nations. | Full Story
