Jeremy Renner will be flexing his action-thriller skills once again, this time starring in a CIA oriented espionage thriller titled Kill the Messenger — although not in the way you think.
According to a recent article from Collider, Jeremy Renner will be playing Gary Webb, a news reporter whose life was ruined when he linked the CIA to a scheme arming Contra rebels in Nicaragua, who in turn used the arms to import vast amounts of cocaine into California. | Full Story
The newest trailer for Paramount’s upcoming flick, Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters has finally hit the web. Production for the movie has been pushed back a few times now, but supposedly, the film will open January 25, 2013. Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton star in the upcoming twist on a classic fairytale. Famke Janssen also makes an appearance in the trailer as a bloodthirsty and childhungry witch.

A recent article from Deadline revealed that the iconic Al Pacino will play an aged rock star attempting to rekindle his spirituality in an upcoming film titled Imagine.
Imagine follows Pacino’s character as he is inspired by a letter John Lennon had written to his 19-year-old self. He decides to give up the stereotypical rocking life of debauchery, including his younger girlfriend and arena-packing performances. The film is a violent remake of the well-known fairytale about scared siblings-turned witch hunters. 15 years after their traumatic gingerbread house incident, Hansel and Gretel have become a formidable team of bounty hounters who track and kill witches all over the world, according to a synopsis from IMDB.

The Avengers has reach a major milestone. The hit film has become the third movie in history to hit the $1.5 billion mark at the worldwide box office.
The Disney and Marvel Studio’s movie hit the mark today, thanks to a re-release and an aggressive Labor Day push. Disney raised The Avengers domestic theater count to 1,700 on Friday, to accommodate the holiday weekend. The Dark Knight Rises falls to the third spot after three weeks at the top.
Taking the top box office spot this week is Universal’s The Bourne Legacy, which is no big surprise. The studio expects it to make $42.2 million this weekend, which it’s perfectly on track to make.
