A new picture from film Pacific Rim has hit the internet, displaying Idris Elba and Rinko Kikuchi in some type of control room setting with a map of the world in the background. In the photo, Elba looks as though he is giving Kikuchi an order as Kikuchi stands fully alert.

Unfortunately, it’s been about four years since we’ve seen Guillermo del Toro direct a film. In a recent interview with Huffington Post, the famed director opened up about his own excitement in returning to what he does best with Pacific Rim, due out in 2013.

Some new set photos hit the web today from Thor: The Dark World featuring Chris Hemsworth as Thor, looking rather beat up. Judging by the pictures, one may say that things are looking pretty awesome.

The French film Intouchables is now in the hands of The Weinstein Company and Harvey Weinstein uncovered his plans to remake the movie an Englishversion. The film, which stars Omar Sy and Francois Cluzet made a lot of noise on the film festival circuit, acquiring eight nominations and five wins. Sy won a Cesar award for Best Actor beating out Jean Dujardin for The Artist. The film is about a wealthy quadriplegic who finds a new reason to live thanks to a vibrant caretaker. | Full Story

The Guillermo Del Toro’s film is set in a future in which aggressive alien-like creatures attack the planet. The human-manned robots on Earth must come together and use highly advanced technology to stop the growing number of odd beings.
