Falling Skies renewal is hardly surprising, ‘the show is just that good.’

Steven Spielberg’s Falling Skies survives for a third season on TNT. The network released their plans to renew the TV show this week. For many fans, this decision is hardly a surprise since the first season was basic cable’s top new series of 2011. The show attracts the 18-49 demographic, which is exactly what advertisers want to see.  So, for the now airing second season that is attracting 5.9 million viewers and ranked as cable’s top summer show, it’s a no-brainer to see aliens continue to invade the earth. | Full Story
