Eva Green has entered negotiations to play the goddess Artemisia in”300: Battle of Artemisia,” according to Heat Vision.

Artemisia is the gold-covered goddess who persuades king-turned-god Xerxes to amass his army to face  the Greek forces in battle. The giant battle at the center of the film is said to be happening simultaneously with the events of the original “300.”

The “300″ sequel is still in search for a male lead .”Warrior” star Joel Edgerton recently turned down the role of Themosticles, the general of the Greek army. | Full Story
