Mark Wahlberg Reveals ‘Entourage’ Cameo, Other Details

Mark Wahlberg has confirmed that he will be making a cameo appearance in the upcoming film version of Entourage, a show the unmistakable actor produced from the ground up via HBO.

“I was written in for a cameo,” he said in a recent interview with Digital Spy. “So if I don’t get cut out I’ll be in there.”

Johnny “Drama” Chase and the crew are heading to the big screen. The hit show Entourage, has finally got the go-ahead to be made into a featured film. Warner Bros has green lit the movie version of the HBO series which ran from 2004-2011.

Entourage is a comedy-drama television series, loosely based on Mark Wahlburg and his friends, that aired on HBO for eight seasons. The series featured the acting career of character Vincent Chase, played by Andrian Grenier, a young A-list movie star, his brother, and his childhood friends from Queens, New York City. | Full Story

Former Hollywood Assistant Sells Script to CBS

Former Hollywood assistant, Lauren Bachelis, recently revealed herself as the mastermind behind the uber-popular Hollywood Assistants blog. The folks at Deadline.com tell us that not only did her website go viral, but Bachelis used it as inspiration for a TV script entitled 20-Nothings she recently sold to CBS. Wonder Years star, Fred Savage (pictured to the right) is attached as executive producer and director.

Jeremy Piven is in talks to star in the series drama Mr. Selfridge. ITV announced the news last week.

Mr. Selfridge will tell the life story of the crazed visionary American moneymaker, Harry Gordon Selfridge.
