After months of uncertainty whether Kick Ass 2: Balls To The Wall was every going to go into production, Deadline has just revealed that universal has stepped in to finance the film.

The big question was surrounded around if the original cast will be returning for the second edition. Rumors suggested that Kick Ass lead Aaron Johnson may not return and the production team has lined up possible replacements.
